Doctor and nurses great- front desk not so much.. I’m four hours from home and my daughter developed a fever/bad congestion and a cough , so she needed to see a doc. I wanted to set her up with a doctor here so that if she gets sick when I’m at my mom’s, I’ll have somewhere to take her. We visit often. We called the number on Google and apparently the original person on the phone wasn’t actually in the Walterboro office even though when you call that number it tells you that you called Valcourt of Walterboro. We were set up for a same day 11:30am appt, and when we got there, the lady at the front desk turned us away because “they don’t see kids for one-time appointments.” The original lady I had on the phone outside of the office called me back and told me they shouldn’t have turned us away and was trying to help- we ended up getting seen, but when we returned the front desk lady was very rude and snarky. Again, the doctor and nurses were good, but we will not be back.
